Joan has dedicated her life to realizing health, happiness, and a sense of meaningful purpose, and helping others do the same. As our Program Director, Joan is responsible for pulling together subject matter experts and coaches to help create and deliver transformational experiences for our clients.

Before joining the Flow to You team, Joan founded her own wellness company and served in management roles at the luxury golf community The Cliffs. She maintains certifications as a Health and Wellness Coach, Yoga Therapist, Personal Trainer, and Fellow of Applied Functional Science.

In 2020, she authored the book Change Point: Simplify Your Life, Find Inner Peace, and Do What Matters. She was previously published in Crossing Cultures with the Peace Corps, and in 2007, she released Yoga with Joan, an audio CD available on Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Music. She began her career serving as a volunteer with AmeriCorps *VISTA and later with the US Peace Corps Honduras, and her heart stays rooted in teaching, community organizing, and group facilitation.

Joan lives with her husband in Greer, South Carolina, where she volunteers with Adopt-a-Stream South Carolina, Women’s Empowerment Toastmasters, and Center for Spiritual Awareness.
